What is wheel alignment?
When your car leaves the factory the wheels are set to the angles the manufacturer specifies — mainly camber, toe and caster. Alignment resets those angles to the manufacturer's settings so you get the best fuel economy, the most comfortable ride and maximum safety from your vehicle.
How often should it be checked?
Even a short journey adds up — potholes, kerb knocks and general wear all push the wheels out of true over time. Ideally have it checked once a year or every 10,000 miles, and always after new tyres, suspension or steering work, or a decent pothole strike.
How long does it take, and what does it cost?
The alignment check is free of charge and takes a few minutes on the ramp. If any adjustment is needed we'll price it based on what the car needs — some vehicles are front-toe only, others adjust on all four corners — and show you the before-and-after report.
